For over twenty years, the Community Sport Hero Awards have been a proud partnership between PacificSport Okanagan and the City of Kelowna, celebrating the people and events that make our local sport community thrive.
This annual event honours local athletes, sport leaders, volunteers, and major sporting events that demonstrate innovation, excellence, and leadership within their sport. Over the years, a long legacy of recipients has showcased the incredible talent and dedication found right here in the Okanagan.
In 2026, we continue this tradition of recognition by celebrating those who have made a significant impact in sport throughout 2025. This is your opportunity to nominate an athlete, coach, official, or volunteer who has gone above and beyond — achieving excellence, showing leadership, or inspiring others through innovation and community spirit.
Perhaps they helped others discover sport, found creative ways to keep teams connected, or made extraordinary efforts to keep our communities active and safe. Whatever their story, we want to celebrate it.
