PacificSport Okanagan offers the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) which prepares coaches for the responsibilities associated with coaching athletes of all ages and abilities. Training and certification is based on coaching streams (community, competition & instruction) and contexts that reflect different types of coaching. As sports are integrating into the new system, some sports have integrated these courses with the sport-specific components. Check with your BC Provincial Sport Organization for more information on the coach training required.
