Kasey Wright

As Sport Development and Communications Coordinator, Kasey leads the coordination of coach education courses, organizes sport discovery camps, and partners with educators and local sport organizations to promote the Canadian Sport for Life model and its benefits across all age groups throughout the region.

Originally from Richmond, BC, Kasey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. She brings a strong background in both sport management and youth development, having played varsity softball at UBC Okanagan for five years before transitioning into a team management role for an additional three years. Kasey also worked as a Child and Youth Worker for North Okanagan Youth and Family Services (NOYFSS), where she gained valuable experience supporting youth in residential and community settings. In addition to coaching throughout Okanagan communities, she has facilitated development clinics for youth of all ages and abilities through Kelowna Minor Fastball.

Passionate about physical literacy, and sport education, Kasey looks forward to creating meaningful connections with sport organizations and community groups throughout the Okanagan Valley, helping to support inclusive and lifelong participation in sport.
