PacificSport Okanagan delivers Coach Events that provide educational opportunities to enhance success in and out of the competition environment. Innovative, current and interactive seminars, workshops and conferences are presented by professionals in their respective field.  Sessions are designed to increase knowledge in the areas of strength and conditioning, sport nutrition, mental training, and performance analysis. For more information on the events delivered please see the following:

 

Okanagan Sport Leadership Conference

  • One day conference designed to provide sport education opportunities for local sport community.
  • Provides sport education opportunities to coaches at all levels (Community to High-Performance)
  • Offer an environment where coaches can network, interact and share strategies and success stories

 

Community Sport Hero Awards

  • An event to recognize and honour local volunteers, athletes and service providers for their outstanding contributions to sport in our community

 

Okanagan Athlete Advance

  • One day conference designed to provide training and sport education opportunities for athletes and coaches in the Excellence pathway of CS4L.
  • Targeted to athletes in the Train to Train and Train to Compete stages of the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) pathway
  • Bring together a team of local sport experts

 

National Coaches Week: Coach the Coach –  Webinar Series – Sept 15-21, 2025

  • A multi-day webinar series hosted by local speakers, designed to support our coaches continued commitment to professional development.
