Kelowna Pride Festival

We are excited to announce that we were selected for a grant for the ParticipACTION Community Challenge coming June 1-30! We’re doing our part to level the playing field by empowering individuals and strengthening communities through the power of sport and physical activity.
The Community Challenge is a national physical activity initiative that encourages everyone to get active together throughout June, with Canada’s most active community winning the top prize of $100,000 to go towards local physical activity and sport initiatives.
Anyone can participate in the ParticipACTION Community Challenge by downloading and tracking their movement on the free ParticipACTION app throughout June, or by joining local Community Challenge activities at our booth at the Kelowna Pride Festival!

PacificSport Okanagan is making its 6th appearance at the Kelowna Pride Festival. We invite the community to march with us towards more inclusive sport for all. After the march, we will have a booth within the Kelowna Pride Festival. We will have movement challenges for prizing and PlayProud Tees by donation ($20).

When: Saturday June 10th
Where: Stuart Park
Time: 9:45am (Festival immediately afterwards in City Park)

Attire: All participants are encouraged to wear a shirt/jersey that represents their unique sport/team/organization. We also have Pacific Sport Pride shirts that will be available for purchase!
Athletes: Please bring a piece of your sports equipment i.e. Basketball, football, hockey stick
