PacificSport Okanagan and the City of Kelowna invite you to our Okanagan Sport Leadership Conference – “Moving Through COVID-19″ at Parkinson Activity Centre on Wednesday, October 20th.

Our Keynote Speaker (James Brotherhood MSc.) will be speaking about enhancing quality sport across British Columbia and how this can inform your own local sport organization. Our breakout sessions will be focusing on the special consideration for COVID-19 burnout in these areas: managing load – exercise physiology (James Brotherhood MSc), nutrition (Celine Evans – Registered Dietitian), and managing mental health (Shaunna Taylor PhD. Mental Health Practitioner / Executive Director PacificSport Okanagan).

We are excited to welcome you back to our first in-person event since March 2020 – we have limited this event to 50 attendees,  and we will require proof of vaccination at the door.

Please note this is a free event with a provided meal and capped attendance, therefore please only RSVP if you are certain you will be able to attend on October 20th. If your circumstances change or you fall ill, please let us know immediately so we are able to take someone off our waitlist.

We look forward to welcoming you all in-person after 18 Months of virtual connections.
