Brennen grew up playing sports, spending over 20 years playing hockey. Brennen had stints in the BCHL, SJHL and MJHL, moving onto four years at Brock University. During his time as a Brock Badger on the Men’s Hockey team, he was a member of the first team in Brock’s history to make a debut at the University Cup in the CIS, while completing his Honours Bachelor of Accounting. Following his years as a player, he was head coach of the NEBC Yukon Trackers Midget Tier 1 program. Most recently, he has settled down in the Okanagan where he has coached on and off three of his four children in the Kelowna Minor Hockey program. When not at the rink with his kids, he is busy working with start-up entrepreneurs to large groups at Crowe MacKay LLP. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 13 years of experience working with both owners and managers addressing business concerns such as accounting, taxation and business planning advice.
